Update

Well it has been a while. Since May we have moved to another apartment. Got pregnant and then 8 weeks later Jesus had different plans for our third child. He or she is in a place where we all want to be, Heaven.
The kids had a blast this summer. We had swimming lessons and practically swam everyday.
And then the past several weeks we have been planning for MOPS. We have our first meeting for the fall tomorrow! And then next Tuesday I start my fall Bible Study at IBC! Can't wait.

Moving

I wish my neighbor upstairs will stop walking around. I know that is not possible. But seriously lets walk a little lighter on your feet. That's me venting.
We move in about a week to another unit. We have been seriously considering this move for a while now but now it is time to move. I am very happy about the move. The kids will have a little "yard" to play in the front of our apartment and I might even plant flowers. We will loose some space but save money on rent.

This is why I love IBC

I have been to a lot of churches in my day. Some good, bad and really bad. But IBC has been the best for me. I had bible study this morning and man I learned so much about myself. You see, the women's ministry at IBC is amazing. The leaders have a genuine heart for women to be more like Christ. I have learned so much this year than any other time in my Christian walk.
The woman that taught us today was discipled by Beth Moore. She had so many amazing nuggets that really stuck with me. This is the one that has really gotten to me today and I am still trying to process it:

"Your lack of disobedience in your life also means you have a lack of love towards Christ".

Being obedient is a response of faith and an outward expression to the love of Christ. I love that God showed me a part of what I am missing in my walk. I am not showing Christ who I am in Him because I have fallen short of his command. So I am choosing to repent and walk the other direction. The direction of God's will.

We had a busy Easter. As many of you know Will and I are part of CARES. We had a CARES party and we also went to Irving Bible for their annual Easter party. So on Easter Sunday we watched lots of movies, took long naps and then went to church. We love Irving Bible and what it has to offer.

Grammy's Party

We just went to Kerrville last weekend for Will's grandmothers 80th birthday. The kids had a blast. The River House is so much fun for my kiddos. They love to play outside and have treasure hunts for cool stuff in the River House. The house was built in the late 1940's so it has lots of treasures for the kids.

Well I met with a long time friend today and she suggested that I need a blog. I have been wanting to create a blog for a while but feel like I have to much to say. Well, here you go. Here is our blog about our life and hopefully you will enjoy it. I may forget from time to time that I have a blog but I will try to update it as much as possible. Leslie, thank you for the suggestion and I had so much fun today. Oh, and William had a major melt down in the bathroom. He was beyond tired.
